At five years old, he used glue and rocks to recreate characters from the television show, "The Flintstones," and received encouragement from his fifth-grade teacher to begin incorporating wood and metal materials and how to use a kiln into his artwork. Following his graduate from school, Mr. Bryant joined the U.S. Merchant Marines in 1984, where he was introduced to tattooing.
Mr. Bryant's artistic talent helped him excel at his trade, through which he developed a deep and lasting connection with many of the people with whom he worked. He began his career as the assistant manager for a local tattoo shop and, in 2012, he established Immortal Ink, where he currently serves as the owner and principal artist. As a qualified professional, Mr. Bryant is a licensed body art artist in the state of Arkansas.
For his efforts over the years, Mr. Bryant has been recognized among the Best of Tattoos Artists for multiple years. Recently, his work was featured in the Jonesboro Sun and, throughout his career, he has been most grateful for the art he has been able to create on behalf of his clients, which he views as a form of therapy for those who wish to memorialize parts of their life in the form of ink. In this way, Mr. Bryant has been able to make meaningful and lasting connections with his local community.
A dedicated civic advocate, Mr. Bryant donates to St. Jude's of Memphis and the Wounded Warrior Project. He also volunteers his efforts as a tattoo artist for charity and maintains his affiliation with the International Society of Poets. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Bryant has attributed his professional success to his empathy, which allows him to create a comfortable environment that customers will wish to return to.
