Mr. Tilley is a retired sea captain who devoted much of his career to the commercial seafood industry. Since retiring in 2000, Mr. Tilley began writing. Chronicling the details of his life and career as a fisherman in his new book, titled "Ice & Fire: The Powerful true and Frightening Adventures of Survival in Alaska and the Aleutian Islands," the work was recently published in 2020 and is available on Amazon.
