Dr. Seymour is distinguished for her more than 25 years of dedication to the field of chemical engineering. As a senior director at Pfizer, she manages a portfolio of CMC programs and leads a team of CMC strategies in all stages of biological drug development and commercial products. Previously she was a Research Advisor at Pharmacia/GD Searle were she led multi discipline drug substance reach teams.

Dr. Seymour's exemplary performance in the field was born of her academic journey. In 1989, she completed a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Lehigh University. Dr. Seymour later went on to continue her education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she would earn a Doctor of Philosophy in chemical engineering.

A consummate professional, Dr. Seymour has been a member of several important organizations relevant to her field, such as the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and served as the AIChE President in 2018. Well regarded for her indelible contributions to chemical engineering, Dr. Seymour serves as the chair of the dean of the Engineering Advisory Council at P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University. She has been bestowed with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Massachusetts College of Engineering in 2021, and was named a Woman of Innovation by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology in 2020.
