Mr. Coan's students have triumphed in several piano competitions

NAZARETH, PA, August 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin M. Coan has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After excelling as the valedictorian of his high school class of 900 students, Mr. Coan graduated, cum laude, in 1977 from Stanford University, where he majored in mathematics. While he has found much success as a computer consultant, Mr. Coan takes particular pride in his founding of the KMC School of Piano in 2007, for which he is the owner and an instructor. Even after becoming permanently disabled that year, Mr. Coan has continued as a traveling instructor in various piano techniques.

In a career suffused with highlights, Mr. Coan is most proud to have seen several of his students go on to in first place in various piano competitions. Furthermore, he has written several articles for online publications in piano playing techniques. To remain aware of developments in the field, Mr. Coan is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, an American nonprofit professional organization that strives to support the growth and development of music-teaching professionals. Looking toward the future, he aspires to continue excelling in piano instruction and supporting the efforts of his students.
