During the length of his tenure, Mr. Lauletta was responsible for sharing new technology in the field of electric power grid maintenance.
An experienced electrical engineer, Mr. Lauletta came from Gould Instrument System, where he was the vice president of sales and marketing. He also garnered a reputation at Scientific Columbus Inc. as both a product manager and the vice president. Among other leading roles at local power companies in both Ohio and Indiana, Mr. Lauletta's success has led to the sharing of new technology in electric power grid maintenance.
Mr. Lauletta has distinguished himself as a frequent speaker for such organizations as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the NRECAs TechAdvantange, various American Public Power Association events and the International Council on Large Electric Systems. Furthermore, he holds several patents and has been published in the professional publication of IEEE several times. Mr. Lauletta is presently a visiting scientist at the University of Akron in Ohio since 2015, where he notably participated in the graduation ceremonies of nine doctoral and 14 master's degree students.
To better support his career, Mr. Lauletta is a secretary and former program chairperson of the IEEE. Other memberships to his credit include the Instrument Society of America and the International Council on Large Electric Systems. In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Lauletta was named as an Outstanding Engineer by the Power and Energy Society of the IEEE in 2019 and was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni by the Ohio State University's department of electrical engineering in 2021.
Born in Indiana, Mr. Lauletta came of age as the son and grandson of engineers. Surrounded by the field his entire life, he always enjoyed working with machinery and solving problems. After graduating from high school, Mr. Lauletta received an Associate of Science in electrical engineering technology in 1973 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1977 at Purdue University. Eminently qualified, he was certified with a PMC-V by the Pragmatic Institute in 2020.
