After graduating high school, Mr. Stamps dedicated himself to his country through the military, retiring as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force after two decades. During that time, he also worked as an air force recruiter and for the Civil Air Patrol. Toward the end of his military career, he bought insurance from a close friend and was inspired to enter the field. In addition to his work in the insurance industry, he excels as manager of the life department at Trammel, Harper & Williams Inc., where he represents between 10 and 15 companies.
An expert in his field, Mr. Stamps completed coursework at the University of Alabama, Central State College and St. Petersburg College, and became a chartered life underwriter and a chartered financial consultant. He additionally received a certificate for long-term care and a LUTCF certification. Outside of his work, he is affiliated with the Birmingham Regional Association of Golfing Seniors, the Birmingham Civic Center, the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the local chamber of commerce and the area Lions Club.
Throughout his career, Mr. Stamps boasts numerous achievements, earning an Air Force Commendation Medal in 1961, being included in the 1966 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America and being inducted into the Birmingham Golf Association Hall of Fame in 2002. Additionally, he was featured in Who's Who of Sales and Marketing. In the coming years, Mr. Stamps intends to remain in good health and continue to take care of his clients to the best of his ability.
