Sherri A. Redmond has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Mrs. Redmond celebrates nearly 40 years as a dedicated educator.

    BOISE, ID, September 02, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sherri A. Redmond has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Drawing a wealth of inspiration from the example of her second grade teacher, Mrs. Rosette, Mrs. Redmond cultivated a deep passion for working with children. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in education from Abilene Christian University, she began her career as a teacher at Mabank Junior High. Following this period, Mrs. Redmond moved on to elementary education and eventually earned a Master of Arts from Lesley University.

Over the span of her career, Mrs. Redmond was a second grade teacher in the school district she graduated from, a preschool teacher at Little Genius School, a kindergarten teacher at the Center for Family Learning, and the vice principal al Moses Lake Christian Academy. Furthermore, she found success as a substitute teacher and as a hybrid and virtual classroom teacher for a community college several years before stepping into her current teaching role at Mountain Home School District #193 as a fourth grade teacher. As a qualified professional, Mrs. Redmond holds teaching certifications in Idaho, Washington, Texas and Colorado.

Throughout her professional journey, Mrs. Redmond is most proud of the connections she has made with countless students who went on to find success in their own career endeavors. Most notably, she received the Idaho Innovative Education Award from KTVB, and she was previously named as the Teacher of the Month. She attributes her professional success over the years to her colleagues and mentors, who always sought to support and encourage her efforts. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Redmond plans to continue molding young minds as a dedicated educator.
