Ms. Nguyen-Yattaw initially became involved in her profession after emigrating from Vietnam, where she had earned an Associate of Arts in 1969. Motivated by a deep well of compassion and empathy for others, she felt compelled to protect children after observing rampant domestic abuse. She is the author of a memoir, "Woman With A Mission," published under the name E.G. Lynn. Ms. Nguyen-Yattaw hopes to write another book in the upcoming years.
