Backed by decades of expertise in accounting, management consulting, data analysis and financial analysis, Ms. Leach currently excels as the chief financial officer and corporate compliance officer of Inspired Healthcare Management, LLC. Since accepting a position with the aforementioned company in 2008, she has supervised financial and compliance matters for a group of skilled nursing facilities, a hospice, as therapy provider and a large closed-shop pharmacy. Prior to her present role, Ms. Leach gained valuable experience as a chief financial officer and certified public accountant for Crescent City Physical Therapy, sr. vice president, chief financial officer, alternate administrator and board member for America International Healthcare, Inc. and operations manager for the Fully Insured Division at GILSBAR Insurance.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Leach worked as a management consultant for Americo Financial Life and Annuity, the vice president of administration and compliance officer for United Life & Annuity Insurance and the vice president of administration for United Companies Life Insurance Company, where she managed nearly $2.5 billion in assets. In her capacity as compliance officer, she worked with the insurance administrations of 47 states, Puerto Rico and, Guam and the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She held securities principal and financial principal licenses and served as the securities executive representative and on the board of directors for United Variable Services. Before embarking on her professional ventures, she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in management from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1990. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Leach has been affiliated with the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Additionally, Ms. Leach has contributed to her community through the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and her local church. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is proud of being hired as a temporary staff accountant with United Companies Life Insurance Company to reconcile unbalanced systems in disrepair due to a major system conversion. The estimated time of completion was a year but it was completed in two and one-half months. As a result of this project, Ms. Leach re-wrote nearly every policy and procedure throughout the company ultimately launching her career. Looking forward to the future, Mary Lynn Leach intends to continue working as a certified public accountant and civil law notary in healthcare senior management while promoting her oil paintings of endangered species.
