Following this period, she gained valuable expertise in the field as a practical nurse through a local geriatric behavior health unit and the local health system. When the opportunity arose to work for the Meadows, Ms. Wike accepted the position of Nurse and Administrator, responsible for day-to-day operations.
A noted expert in her field, Ms. Wike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education through Lock Haven University and a degree in Practical Nursing from Pennsylvania College of Technology. To remain aware of changes in the ever-evolving field of elder care, she aligns herself with the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association, and LeadingAge.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Wike is most proud to have protected her residents from the coronavirus since the onset of the pandemic, which is largely due to the diligence and dedication to safety of her staff. Looking toward the future, she aims to continue working in her current role as an administrator.
