LONGVIEW, TX, September 24, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Allyson Ward Bailey has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. With a distinguished career in banking to her credit, Ms. Bailey currently represents Prosperity Bank in Longview, as the Banking Center President since 2020. She previously served as the aforementioned bank's Senior Vice President, operating as its sole lender and banking center manager between 2018 and 2020. During this time, Ms. Bailey was notably celebrated as a Top Producing Lender throughout East Texas for 2019 and 2020.
Prior to these posts, Ms. Bailey excelled with BancorpSouth in Longview as a senior commercial loan specialist from 2005 to 2018. In her position, she helped multiple lenders and was responsible for all the background work that went into aiding clients secure commercial loans. As she advanced in her position, she continued to educate herself about the many aspects of the business. Ms. Bailey was additionally active as a bank teller for another local credit union before accepting her role with BancorpSouth.
Ms. Bailey's tenure at Prosperity Bank notably included the oversight of various loans and loan requests, from small personal loans of just $1,500 to large, multi-million-dollar commercial construction loans. Attributing her success in the industry to the level of respect that she exhibits to all of her customers, she thoroughly enjoys serving the public and their needs. In the coming years, Ms. Bailey would eventually like to either establish another branch in town or acquire a regional position.
Supporting her community, Ms. Bailey is a member of the Longview Chamber of Commerce. She was also appointed as the chairperson of the Chamber's Leadership Longview alumni program and the treasurer of Education by Design. Ms. Bailey formerly found success as the treasurer and board member of Young Professionals of Longview and the president of the board of Longview Community Ministries.
Ms. Bailey notably completed the Leadership Longview program in 2014 to further develop her career in banking. Likewise, she was recognized as the cover story in the October 2020 edition of Infiniteplus Magazine. She also received an Emerging Leaders Award from the Longview Chamber of Commerce in 2016 for her contributions to the community. Ms. Bailey remains active today through her various community activities.
