With decades of professional excellence to his credit, Mr. Rock has earned distinction for his work as a television producer and on air talent for TV and radio, including hosting four channels on Sirius XM Satellite Radio since 2001. Since 1996, he has flourished as an announcer for the NBC Television Network promoting NBC News programs like NBC Nightly News and prominent voice for prime time entertainment programs as well as SNL. Additionally, Mr. Rock hosted numerous national and major market radio shows in cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Boston and New York and served as the program director of radio stations, including WMEX Boston, WTRY Albany, WNBC-AM in New York City and vice president of programming for Insilco Broadcasting radio stations in Miami. New Orleans, Oklahoma and Hartford/New Haven.

Notably, Mr. Rock was the first voice to appear on Elvis Radio, Sirius XM's and the world's first successful dedicated one artist 24/7 radio station, in 2004. In the 1980's and 90's he hosted the highly rated Saturday Night Country Club on WYNY in NYC. Other NY stations on which he was heard include WOR, WCBS-FM and WWDJ. He also hosted nationally syndicated "Motor City Beat" for Dick Clark's United Stations, and produced and hosted television specials for Public TV and ESPN. As president of Bill Rock Productions he has been presented with a Silver Medal from the International Television and Film Festival in 1985, he accepted multiple Telly Awards, Pinnacle Awards, Communicator Awards and Ad Club Awards.

Mr. Rock attended college at Seton Hall University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication arts in 1969. Since 1994, he has served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and in 2000 was awarded a Commendation for Meritorious Service in Public Affairs from the United States Coast Guard. He served 10 terms as chairman of The Waterfront and Harbor Management Commission where among his numerous accomplishments, Mr. Rock led an 11 million dollar project to dredge the Housatonic River federal navigation channel.
