John Lautz Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Lautz has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the fields of electrical engineering and consulting

COLUMBIA, MD, September 27, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present John Lautz with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Lautz celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

For the past 25 years, Mr. Lautz has been aligned with ABS Consulting in Arlington, Virginia, as a consultant for the organization. A large data-driven risk and reliability solutions and technical services company that has grown exponentially over the past 50 years, ABS first specialized in providing marine technical services to clients and has since expanded into industrial and governmental services. As a principal engineer, Mr. Lautz is responsible for designing software for scientific applications. He is proud to have made numerous advancements inside the organization, which have been due, in part, to his hard work, dedication and ongoing training.

Mr. Lautz's tenure in the industry began in 1968 as an engineer for Vitro Laboratories in Silver Spring, Maryland. He subsequently spent four years in the military, serving to the rank of a captain and working in engineering for the U.S. Air Force in Fort Meade, Maryland, from 1969 to 1973. Returning to life as a civilian, Mr. Lautz was hired as a senior system analyst for Digital Graphics Inc. in Rockville, Maryland, where he remained for more than two decades until 1995.

Inspired by his father, who was also an engineer, Mr. Lautz was accepted to the University of Detroit. During his studies, he earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1968. Mr. Lautz subsequently spent another year pursuing graduate courses in numerical science at Johns Hopkins University during 1969.

To further support his professional endeavors in the field, Mr. Lautz is a Life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the organization's Computer Society. In 1975, he authored an article, "Sea Technology," which featured in a national magazine. Proud to have served his country, Mr. Lautz was decorated with a Joint Services Commendation Medal by the U.S. Air Force in Fort Meade in 1973.
