Lourdes Uranday Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Human Resources

Ms. Uranday has garnered a wealth of expertise in human resources and manufacturing



    MODESTO, CA, October 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lourdes Uranday has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With more than 25 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Uranday has served as a human resources consultant for the Valley Sierra Small Business Development Center in Modesto, California, since 2012. She previously began her career as an employee relations specialist for Ruiz Food Products and subsequently served as a human resources supervisor opening a manufacturing facility for Foster Farms in Porterville, CA.

Ms. Uranday continued her work as a human resources manager for Advanced Food Products in Visalia, California, and Dole Fresh Vegetables providing support to both the Soledad, California, and Yuma, Arizona facilities. She was additionally appointed as a plant human resources manager for ConAgra Foods providing Human Resources (HR) support to both the Modesto, California and Fernley, Nevada facilities. Her HR career has including staffing agency and warehousing industries.

In addition to her HR and business consulting with the Valley Sierra Small Business Development Center, Ms. Uranday was active as a labor relations representative with the California School Employees Association in San Jose, California, from 2013 to 2018. She was later recruited as a senior manager of human resources and administration for the Simwon America Corporation in Lathrop, California, an auto body manufacturer for Tesla. Today, she is the Vice President of Human Resources and business partner with Consultrex, Inc.

Ms. Uranday initially pursued an education at California State University, Fresno and completing with the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1998. She eventually concluded her studies at the aforementioned university in 2016, graduating with a master's degree in business administration, with a focus on human resource management. Moreover, Ms. Uranday was part of the management team with Dole Fresh Vegetables helping to obtain a Cal-STAR safety certification and Employer Training Panel (ETP) grant for the company.

Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Uranday has participated in numerous endeavors in relation to her areas of expertise. A former member of the Joint Health Management Board in the Fresno Unified School District, she has likewise contributed as a member of the Madera County Workforce Development Board for the California School Employees Association from 2014 to 2015 and a board member for the Lathrop Chamber of Commerce between 2018 and 2020. Since 2020, Ms. Uranday has found additional success as the board chairman and founder of the Stanislaus County Employer Advisor Council (EAC).

Ms. Uranday has been affiliated with various organizations in her field as well. To wit, she has been associated with the Central Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (CVHCC) as a board secretary from 2017 to 2018 and a member since 2012. Furthermore, Ms. Uranday served as a past board member and former veteran's chairperson for the Greater Stockton Employer Advisory Council (GSEAC).

As a testament to her impressive undertakings, Ms. Uranday has accrued several accolades throughout her career. In 2005, she was presented with the President's Achievement Award from Dole Fresh Vegetables. Notably, Ms. Uranday has garnered multiple employer training panel grants for businesses over the years, including Dole Fresh Vegetables, Simwon America Corp. in San Joaquin County, and the CVHCC in Central California.

Ms. Uranday was drawn to the field of human resources and manufacturing during her collegiate years, as she enjoyed working with people as a temporary human resources specialist. She attributes her success to her "go-getter" attitude and seeing others succeed, which has enabled her to help others and start them on their own paths toward success. Among the many highlights of her career, she is proud to have completed her master's degree while working on a full-time basis and handling her duties as a wife and mother, while hosting an international student from China. Looking toward the future, Ms. Uranday hopes to travel in her spare time while growing her business and even potentially write a book.
