As an extension of his career, Mr. Jones is the co-founder and president of Taftly, an online apparel company he formed in 2016 that sells graphic tee-shirts and other accessories that include historic, witty slogans and images. He also began co-hosting the AZ Brandcast in 2017, a monthly podcast where he highlights Arizona brands by interviewing business leaders throughout the state. Additionally, Mr. Jones recently co-founded ThrivePHX in 2019, a non-profit organization that serves as a platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the Phoenix area to connect with one another.
Possessing a career that began in 2004, Mr. Jones was a graphic designer, art director and musician for several different companies. He also served as vice president of marketing for Conscious Capitalism Arizona for nearly two years between 2019 and 2021.
Inspired by the process of building teams, Mr. Jones is passionate about being an entrepreneur. His goal, however, is to ensure that all U.S. start-up companies have the necessary tools to successfully build their clientele. In addition to hosting workshops and seminars at area universities and corporations all over the United States, he is also releasing his first book, titled "You Are Remarkable: How to Unlock Your Authentic Brand to Attract Loyal Customers," in the fall of 2021 to reach a wider audience.
To support his many civic interests, Mr. Jones has been a support volunteer and design team member for Phoenix Design Week. He is also involved with Grace Bible Church, became a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator for the Legal Marketing Association, is a board member (and former co-director) of PHX Startup Week, is an Arizona Innovation Challenge Judge for the Arizona Commerce Authority, and is a mentor for #yesPHX. Additionally, he became a partner with Social Venture Partners Arizona in 2020, a Phoenix-based organization comprised of more than 120 members devoted to building stronger philanthropists and non-profits. Mr. Jones is also a member of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, is a member of Local First Arizona, a non-profit organization that serves to strengthen community and economic development throughout the state, and has been a member of Arizona Technology Council, a non-profit designed as an avenue where technology companies can connect and empower one another throughout the United States.
Mr. Jones studied history at Arizona State University between 2003 and 2004 and Northern Arizona University in 2005. Supporting his professional career, he has been an active member of the Association of Accounting and Marketing, through which he became a conference speaker in 2020. He has also been a board member for Conscious Capitalism Arizona since 2019 and a member of Arizona Marketing Technology and the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
Celebrating his success, Mr. Jones was named one of Arizona's Top 35 Entrepreneurs Under the Age of 35 by the Arizona Republic. He was also recently named among Arizona's Top Business Leaders Under 40 by the Phoenix Business Journal. His firm received recognition as Top Web Design Firm, Top Market Research Firm, and Top Creative and Traditional Agency by Clutch in 2017.
