Ms. Negron began working in the restaurant industry as a waitress at the age of 15, subsequently advancing to become a bartender and a manager. During her last year as a manager, she decided that she no longer wanted to work for others. Eventually, Ms. Negron and her father decided to establish a food truck, which has now grown into a restaurant, El Lechon de Negron.

As the owner of the restaurant, Ms. Negron focuses on daily operations including bookkeeping, inventory and booking catering events and festivals. She also works directly with customers and addresses all of their reviews. She has developed a specialty for cooking and food as well as time and people management. Moreover, Ms. Negron has earned an Associate of Science in business administration.

In the years since, Ms. Negron's restaurant was recognized as the Business of the Month and received several awards at food truck competitions. In her community, she advocates for animals and volunteers at local shelters. In the coming years, she plans to develop a third location as well as a third food truck. Ms. Negron also hopes to establish the first Puerto Rican drive-through restaurant in America.
