Dale Decker Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Nuclear Medicine

Mr. Decker has flourished in supervising medical nuclear technology firms



    PEARLAND, TX, October 13, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dale Decker has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

In 1988, Mr. Decker obtained an Associate in Arts and Sciences in nuclear medicine from the George Washington University and continued his education in 1998 with bachelor's degrees in business management and business administration from LeTorneau University. Previously, Mr. Decker had served his country as a combat medic and nuclear medicine technologist with the U.S. Army from 1982 until 1990, with postings in West Germany, Fort Benning, Georgia, Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Ord, California.

Mr. Decker provided superior service as a department supervisor with the Northeast Medical Center in Humble, Texas, from 1990 to 1994, where he oversaw four nuclear technologists performing general and cardiac nuclear studies. As a nuclear medicine technologist with Dr. Mohan Jacob in Humble from 1994 to 2000 and Dr. Edward Leahey in Baytown between 2006 and 2008, he supervised nuclear cardiology labs and performed imaging for over 800 patients a year. Additionally, as a supervisor of nuclear cardiology at Southwest Cardiovascular Associates, Houston, Mr. Decker performed all studies including IV, treadmill and imaging for over 1,000 patients.

As a supervisor with Houston Cardiovascular Associates from 2009 to 2018, Mr. Decker oversaw a department of six nuclear technologists and two stress technicians, performing an average of 20 to 25 nuclear stress tests and 18 cardiac PET scans per day. With Nuclear Imaging Services, LLC. from 2018 to 2019 and Bracco Diagnostics Inc. from 2019 onward, he has trained technologists in the role of Clinical Applications Specialist for nuclear medicine and PET/CT systems as well as cardiac PET generators and PET infusion systems.

In addition to his work in nuclear medicine, Mr. Decker has also prospered in sales. As a consultant with AstraZeneca, the British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, he prospered as a cardiovascular anti-hypertensive medication sales representative from 2000 to 2003. With Cardinal Health in the Houston area, Mr. Decker oversaw and grew a portfolio of over $2 million a year in the company's nuclear isotopes division. Among his career achievements, he is most proud to have successfully managed several medical technology firms, as evidenced by the positive feedback he receives from his clinics. In the coming years he intends to become a regional manager.
