An attending OB-GYN physician and a teaching faculty member at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago from 2015 to 2017, she served as the physician marketing coordinator of Children's Mercy Hospital from 2005 to 2007. Passionate about her career, Dr. Dubyel enjoys how her position allows her to handle a variety of tasks, including labor and delivery, gynecologic surgeries, prenatal visits, annual exams, IUD insertion and removal and consultations.
Prior to embarking on her professional path, Dr. Dubyel pursued an education at The George Washington University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biological anthropology in 2004. Obtaining a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University in 2011, she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in 2015. Active in her field, Dr. Dubyel holds professional affiliation with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dedicated to educating her patients, colleagues and students, Dr. Dubyel considers her most notable achievement thus far to be accepting an Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Association of Professors of Gynecology & Obstetrics from 2019 to 2020. She attributes her success to having compassion for her patients, and she always provides them with the best care and information. Looking towards the future, Dr. Dubyel would like to advance to a leadership role, in either a group or department setting, withs an academic institution.
