In order to prepare for her career, Dr. Hinton pursued an education at Howard University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine in 2008. She later earned a Master of Business Administration in Health Administration from Saint Joseph's University in 2012. Following these accomplishments, Dr. Hinton obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014.
Esteemed in her field, Dr. Hinton accepted the Family Medicine Resident Award for Scholarship from the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors and the North American Primary Care Research Group in 2017 and the Resident Scholarly Project Award from the Crozer-Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program in 2017. A recipient of the inaugural Family Medicine Leads scholarship from the Emerging Leaders Institute of the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation in 2015, she was presented with the Annual Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Student Award from the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association in 2014. Throughout her impressive career, Dr. Hinton is incredibly proud of garnering the trust of her patients and supporting them through their most difficult times.
Active in her community, Dr. Hinton maintains her involvement with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. Moreover, she remains affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians, the Howard University Alumni Association and the Saint Joseph's University Alumni Association.
