Prior to her time with Acuity Brands, Ms. Sumpter-Frazier gained valuable expertise in the field as Accounting Manager for View Point Health, for which she also served as treasury accountant. During her dual roles with the View Point Health, she maintained responsibility for GL distribution, reviewed government contracts and conducted quarterly budget meetings. Ms. Sumpter-Frazier previously found success as a financial analyst for McCormick between 2005 and 2008.
An expert in her field, Ms. Sumpter-Frazier initially earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University. She subsequently concluded her studies at Strayer University, from which she obtained a Master of Business Administration in accounting with a 4.0 grade point average and a master's degree in project management. Alongside her primary responsibilities in the field, Ms. Sumpter-Frazier contributes to those less fortunate as a volunteer with Citizens Against Spouses, which deals with victims of domestic abuse.
Even though her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Sumpter-Frazier is incredibly proud of receiving a Certificate of Academic Excellence from Coastal Carolina University as well as streamlining billing processes and reporting for a mental health facility.
