At the age of 12, Mr. Jankovsky was caught stealing by the local Justice of the Peace. Luckily, he took him under his wing and set him upon the right path by introducing him to various military professionals. Inspired to become an officer himself, he subsequently served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Jankovsky further flourished as a state trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety for nearly 20 years.
Over the years, Mr. Jankovsky has developed a wealth of expertise in emergency management and criminal interdiction. Throughout his career, he has been incredibly proud of his work to promote childhood cancer awareness. After his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, Mr. Jankovsky notably raised funds toward leukemia research and the reduction of side effects for chemotherapy with St. Baldrick's Foundation. He is the proud father of a son who is in the Navy and recently re-enlisted.
In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Jankovsky has also been active with the local blood bank, the Trinity Oaks Foundation and Driscoll Children's Hospital. He has attributed his professional success to being surrounded by good people. He has also garnered inspiration from his daughter, who taught him the value of strength. Looking toward the future, Mr. Jankovsky plans to retire from his profession in order to pursue other areas of public service.
