Ms. DiBernardo has found success as a licensed mental health counselor at her own practice Expressive Connections Mental Health Counseling PLLC and as the practice manager of another private practice, Biofeedback, Mental Health Counseling & Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC. Between the two practices she sees up to 40 clients weekly that range from children to adults, provides clinical supervision to several other clinicians and maintains high standards for client care and clinical supervision. Prior to entering into private practice in 2018, Ms. DiBernardo worked as a Batterer Intervention Program Coordinator for a domestic violence agency.
After surviving an assault as a teenager, Ms. DiBernardo decided to pursue a career in mental health counseling. She graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminology. Thereafter, she earned a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from St. John's University. Ms. DiBernardo is board certified in biofeedback via the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.
Among her career accomplishments, Ms. DiBernardo is most proud to have achieved success in private practice, and to have helped other clinicians in the field. She attributes much of her achievements to her hardworking, organized and determined nature. Looking toward the future, Ms. DiBernardo intends to continue developing her practice and working closely with other professionals.
