After earning a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from McMicken College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Beck pursued her studies of legal service at the University of Dayton's School of Law, where she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence. She was subsequently admitted to practice law in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Beck gained valuable expertise in the field as a paralegal and then as an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl, an extern with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and an attorney with Ulmer & Berne LLP.
Over the years, Ms. Beck has also volunteered with the Red Cross, the Defense Research Institute, the Cincinnati Urban Business Initiative and Friends of the Pops. Additionally, Ms. Beck works as the Managing Member of the Beck Law Center.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Beck aligns herself with MENSA, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Ohio Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the West Virginia Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
