While earning a degree from Instituto de Diseño de Caracas during the mid-1980s, Ms. Gonzalez also served as an assistant general secretary for the Instituto Universitario de Nuevas Profesiones in Venezuela. Upon graduating, she joined Camera Studio as an art assistant, working with such companies as Kellogg, Colgate and Coca-Cola, and gained valuable expertise in the field as a graphic designer and art director for Perez Puelles Advertising, C-Crea Advertising and AMP Design Studio.
When she moved to the United States, Ms. Gonzalez engaged with entrepreneurs and furthered her expertise as a manager and creative director for Quadra Gráfica 35 Corp, where she remains today. In addition to her work with Quadra Gráfica, she excels as a project manager for Image & Retail Solution USA. During this time, her mother began to hallucinate from her blood glucose numbers: and Olivia was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Driven by helping her mother and herself, Ms. González spent time researching and developing new recipes that she and her mother could enjoy. Through that process, she made a functional sugar-free, chemical-free ice cream that she now sells through Guudy Corporation.
An expert in her field, Ms. Gonzalez aligns herself with Miami Emprendedores and the Society of Design in Venezuela. Previously, she was a member of the Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce. Looking toward the future, Ms. Gonzalez intends to experience the continued growth and success of her creative career and her new product Guudy Ice Cream.
