After completing coursework at Tulsa Community College and Tulsa Technology Center in Oklahoma from 2002 to 2004, Ms. Aberg obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010. She continued her education with a Master's of Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2015.
During her schooling, Ms. Aberg worked in retail establishments, such as Zappos and Hard Rock, with locations in Las Vegas from 2004 to 2011. After graduating from UNLV, she pursued her aspirations in health services through the Developmental Educational Assistance Program in Miles City from 2011 to 2013, by assisting families of developmentally disabled individuals with various needs. During this time, she started her master's program education which would later lead her to work with the Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City from 2015 to 2018. Ms. Aberg served as a mental health therapist in the CSCT program, delivering therapeutic treatment to adolescents and their families through the school district.
Since 2018, Ms. Aberg has found success as a behavioral health provider with oneHealth in Miles City, bringing therapy services for individuals working in an integrated health care setting. This work includes delivering various treatment modalities, assessment and intake, treatment planning, team collaboration, and reviewing and monitoring patient progress throughout therapeutic treatment. She is also affiliated with the American Counseling Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors and the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association.
Ms. Aberg considers her openness to new opportunities and her adaptability as key factors in her success. She is incredibly proud of her ability to reach people in isolated places and help them in their most crucial moments.
