After graduating from Montclair State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian studies, Ms. Martin began her career as a teacher. Over the years, she gained valuable expertise through numerous professional positions, including as an educator with Cobb County Schools between 2002 and 2005. Upon her father's retirement, the pair purchased an apartment complex in the Rossville, Georgia area. During her first year as the owner of Hillcrest Apartments and Bianca Homes LLC, Ms. Martin's father relocated to Italy while she became manager of the complex, which unfortunately encountered financial difficulties for a number of years.
Ms. Martin utilized her construction knowledge to make improvements in the building until it became profitable. During the recession, she purchased a foreclosed beach condominium in Florida and later hired her deaf brother as her General Manager. Together, they renovated the property and transformed it into a beach vacation rental, which has since become a lucrative business of buying and flipping homes.
Drawing upon her expertise in construction, real estate management and home restoration, Ms. Martin became a real estate agent and accepted a position at Red Barn Real Estate as a realtor in 2018. In addition to her primary work with Red Barn, she excels in the same role with Fathom Realty, with which she specializes in residential real estate. In the near future, Ms. Martin intends to become a licensed real estate broker as well as a district director with Fathom Realty or the owner of a private brokerage.
Due to her professional excellence, Ms. Martin was recognized among the Trademark Women of Distinction, and garnered the Rookie of the Year Award, which was one of the highlights of her career. She further obtained the Top Achiever Gold Award from the Cherokee County Association of Realtors in 2019. The following year, Ms. Martin was presented with the Top Achieved Platinum Award from the Cherokee County Association of Realtors and honored as a Top Agent by Top Agent Magazine.
