Ms. Elrod has more than 18 years of experience in the field of education with five years of experience as an elementary school counselor for the St. Joseph's School District. Ms. Elrod received her Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Northwest Missouri State University. She is the recipient of the 2007 Counselor of the Year Award from the Northwest Missouri Elementary School, the 2005 Best Practices Award and the 2004 St. Joseph School District Foundation Appleseed Grant. Ms. Elrod attributes her success to her perseverance, personal drive and the continued support of her colleagues.
