An expert in his field, Dr. Albert L. Page has been designated as a professor emeritus of the University of California Riverside since 1997.

An expert in his field, Dr. Page has been designated as a professor emeritus of the University of California Riverside since 1997. From 1960 to 1997, he contributed to the aforementioned university as a professor of soil and environmental science. Moreover, Dr. Page excelled as the director of the Kearney Foundation of Soil Science at the University of California Riverside.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Page pursued an education at the University of California Riverside, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry in 1956. He later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in social science from the University of California Davis in 1960. Notably, Dr. Page served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1949 as well as from 1951 to 1952.

With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Page was appointed as an editor of "Methods of Soil Analysis" and "Utilization of Municipal Wastewater and Sludge on Land," both in 1983, and "Heavy Metals in the Environment" in 1977. A recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the United States Department of Agriculture in 1991, an Environmental Quality Research Award from the American Society of Agronomy in 1984 and a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University of California Riverside in 1976, he further accepted fellowships from numerous institutions such as the Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Fulbright Program. Notable among Dr. Page;s accomplishments are his contributions to national and international committees that developed standards for the concentrations of trace elements in soils. Dr. Page has been featured in numerous honors publications in recognition of his accomplishments, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the West.
