Mr. Hardy additionally served his community as chief of staff for the State Senator Sharif Street from 2006 to 2008 and a political director for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) from 2010 to 2012. As the outreach director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, he handles emails, meeting conversations between chairs of the state and world leaders of the municipality, as well as coordination between various statewide campaigns for anyone seeking office on the Democratic ticket. He also organizes campaigns and manages total operations. With Lou & Choo's, Mr. Hardy has flourished as the general manager, responsible for bill payments, building safety, checking print materials and emails and booking.
During his career, Mr. Hardy has earned many honors, including the Pennsylvania Keystone Political Award in 2004, the Best in Political Strategy Operations from the Pyramid Consulting Group in 2009 and the Best of the Best in Politics from 1199C National Union of Hospital & Health Care Employees (NUHHCE) in 2017. He is a member of the African American Business Association, Black Public Administrators Press Conference Team, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Confederation of Young Leaders, 100 Black Men of America Inc., Shriners International, and Ionic Lodge, No. 112. Mr. Hardy also enjoys serving as president of the Cycle Kings Motorcycle Club.
Mr. Hardy's involvement in politics began while he was volunteering for former Philadelphia mayor John Franklin Street's campaign and was mentored by his field director, Greg Naylor, who taught him the strategies, operations and mathematical analysis methods for running campaigns. He credits his success to discipline and his will to win, as he transferred his football leadership and teamwork skills into his profession as a political consultant. In the coming years, Mr. Hardy is hoping for continued achievement with his consultancy while devoting his spare time to traveling.
