WARREN, MI, November 11, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Debra D. Napier has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Napier obtained a Bachelor of Science in family life education from Spring Arbor University. Following this accomplishment, she received a Master of Science in counseling from Oakland University. Dr. Napier continued her education with a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis.
Since concluding her academic efforts, Dr. Napier provided her service as a counselor with Child and Family Services for the state of Michigan for over 35 years. Presently, she works as a licensed therapist in Sterling Heights, where she counsels clients in marriage counseling, domestic violence cases, eating disorders and psychodynamic therapy. In addition to counseling, Dr. Napier has been affiliated with such universities as Central Michigan University, Spring Arbor University, the University of Phoenix, Baker College, and Northwestern University where he teaches counseling and family life development courses.
Dr. Napier's charity and volunteer work includes participating in and conducting workshops against bullying, for marital enrichment and resilient parenting. Likewise, she joined a task force for suicide prevention. Looking toward the future, Dr. Napier aspires to continue teaching and counseling until her retirement.
