Mr. Savage had the honor of working with Meryl Streep in the NYC Shakespeare Festival Production of Henry V.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, November 15, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Savage has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater arts from SUNY Purchase College, Mr. Savage began acting, working for such television shows as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and the soap opera General Hospital. In addition to acting, he became an award-winning filmmaker, as well as a mentor for other actors through The Total Workshop for Acting, which he established in 1998. From there, he became president of Tree Fort Productions and 3 Day Demo. Today, he excels as president of Sirtony Films, Inc.
Over the years, Mr. Savage has created more than 5,000 original short films, and served as producer, director, cinematographer, writer and editor for such films as "Hit & Run," "Talking to Strangers, Lovers, and Friends," "The Body Guard," "The Car Salesman" and "The Filmmaker Dead or Alive." In the coming years, he aims to focus on a reality show of his own called "Who's the Next Hollywood Movie Star?" Though he wants to honor such reality shows as America's Got Talent and The Voice, he intends to ensure everyone is financially invested and that actors are cast by people around the world rather than big Hollywood movie producers with vested interests in seeing certain people succeed.
An alumni of The Acting Company of the Julliard School, Mr. Savage gives back to those less fortunate through Kiwanis International and Disabled American Veterans. Throughout his career, he has been honored for his outstanding work, earning a Small Business of the Year Award, an Executive of the Year Award through Elite American Executives, 15 Short Film Awards for such shorts as "A Story of Hope" and "The River of Life," and several awards through Disabled American Veterans for his charitable contributions.
In addition to the awards he has won, Mr. Savage had the honor of working with Meryl Streep in the NYC Shakespeare Festival Production of Henry V, created on award-winning commercial on Vivexx, and got Stevie Wonder to use in-ear monitors which are now used by most musicians around the world. Looking toward the future, Mr. Savage will focus his professional efforts on his reality show and publishing his book, "Money War$ 'Insanity Vs. Sanity' My Gift to Humanity – A Conversation with Sirtony."
