Mr. Greenberg was educated in the public schools in Florence, South Carolina. In the tenth grade (fourth form) he went to Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He earned a diploma from Woodberry Forest School in 1997 where he was active in many activities and was a leader. Greenberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001 and then furthered his education by earning a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 2005. Greenberg had experience in the legal field as an intern, volunteer, and law clerk. Greenberg had always been entrepreneurial since his childhood, and he decided to enter the real estate business full time in July 2007 as a Realtor(R) and Broker Associate in the Charleston South Carolina area.
Entering the real estate business right before the Great Recession, Mr. Greenberg was confronted with tough times. Rather than quit the real estate business as many agents did, Greenberg dug in trying to learn all that he could and help as many people as he could. He learned and prospered as a Realtor(R) and Broker Associate with several real estate brokerages located in the Charleston South Carolina area from July 2007 until December 2015. In December 2015 Greenberg founded his own real estate brokerage firm, Greenberg Real Estate LLC, as a vehicle to provide customized help to people and entities with their commercial and residential real estate needs in the Florence and Charleston South Carolina areas. Additionally, he has served as a consultant with MGL Development Company and Corporate Properties LLC from 2013 to the present. Believing in the value of real estate, Greenberg started a number of real estate holding companies to invest in real estate. His areas of real estate brokerage expertise include commercial and residential real estate, investment properties, leasing, and consulting. In his brokerage practice Greenberg provides customized services as he strives to provide the best work possible for each of the clients which Greenberg assists. What distinguishes Greenberg is his unique education, experiences, honesty, caring, and the effort he takes to help each client based on each client's needs.
Mr. Greenberg has accrued many diverse honors during his life. Among them, he was Bar Mitzvahed and Confirmed in his faith of Judaism, earned Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, successfully wrote and defended an honors thesis and thus graduated with honors from UNC- Chapel Hill. He completed a program at the Carolina Business Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill as well. He is an accomplished musician and songwriter who has played music since childhood. With his brother he has released an album, and he has composed various original songs. He has played with various musicians over the years. In real estate, he won a Spirit of Coleman Award from Carolina One Real Estate Coleman Blvd office in 2012, received a Gold Circle certification from Brand Name Real Estate in 2013, was in 2010 conferred the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, a designation by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), earned a Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors in 2010. He also was conferred the SFR- Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification from the National Association of Realtors. He is a Candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is working towards his CCIM designation. To remain aware of developments in the real estate field, Mr. Greenberg seeks further education and maintains his affiliation with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Pee Dee Association of Realtors, where he served as a board member and treasurer in the past. Greenberg has access to the Greater Pee Dee MLS and the Charleston Trident MLS (for residential and commercial real estate).
Greenberg is committed to giving back to others and making the community better. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Florence, South Carolina, and Kiwanis Club of Florence, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Leadership Florence in Florence, South Carolina through the Florence Chamber of Commerce. His firm is a member of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce where Greenberg serves as an Ambassador. He is a 2013 graduate of the Manigault Leadership Program at KKBE Congregation in Charleston, SC. In 2017 Greenberg served as a dancer, participant, and fundraiser for The School Foundation of Florence, South Carolina. Greenberg was appointed by the Governor of South Carolina twice to serve as a board member of the Florence County Disabilities and Special Needs Board on which board he still serves. Additionally, Greenberg is a member and Trustee of Beth Israel Congregation where he is very active. Greenberg is a board member of The Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity. Greenberg is happily married to his beautiful and talented wife, and they have two amazing children.
