Madisen Lewis Lauded for Excellence in the Arts and Education

Ms. Lewis channels years of varied expertise into her work with Billings Middle School

    SEATTLE, WA, November 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Madisen Lewis has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Discovering her love for education later in life, Ms. Lewis was driven to become a teacher. While working as a guest services associate at Target, a face painter for Smiley Orca Face Painting and a graphic designer for Countdown Today Inc., she earned a Bachelor of Arts in studio arts and psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz. Upon her graduation, Ms. Lewis was active as a sales and inventory associate for 41st Avenue Liquor and a supervising artist for Smiley Orca Face Painting.

In 2017, Ms. Lewis became a gallery intern for Revolver Gallery and an art teacher for Team Prime Time. Inspired to further her expertise, she obtained a master's degree in teaching from Seattle University and gained valuable experience as an art teacher for Redmond Art Works and a private tutor for Varsity Tutors. Backed by her wealth of professional knowledge, Ms. Lewis currently excels as a middle school mathematics teacher and visual arts teacher for Billings Middle School.

Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Lewis is affiliated with the National Council for Teaching Mathematics and the Northwest Association of Independent Schools. Outside of her primary work, she has also contributed to the diversity, equity and inclusion committees at Billings Middle School and operated as an administrative assistant for the Diversity Center of Santa Cruz County. For her professional excellence, she received two scholarship grants from the Masters in Teaching program at Seattle University. In the coming years, Ms. Lewis aims to teach in international schools to further her career.
