    GLENDALE, AZ, November 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sean E. Reavie has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Reavie is the president, founder and chief executive officer of Put on the Cape: A Foundation for Hope, a charitable organization that he formed in 2019 to support children suffering from acute abuse. Headquartered in Glendale, Arizona, the nonprofit relies solely on volunteers. The board of directors, composed of volunteers, includes, a nonprofit specialist, an attorney, a bookkeeper, and a grant writer. Mr. Reavie also has a "Cause Play" team of professional costumed actresses and actors portraying superheroes at his events. The organization has several subcommittees to handle their golf tournament, 5k races, car shows, Signature Superhero Events, philanthropy and expansion. The organization supports eight Arizona child advocacy centers supplying their basic needs to include food, clothing, diapers, and toys.

Recently, Mr. Reavie completed a test group in Michigan, which achieved considerable success. His goal is to establish his foundation throughout the United States, thus ensuring that it can empower, educate and uplift multiple states and their victims. Besides his work with his charitable organization, Mr. Reavie supports Cameo Courage, a nonprofit that sends groups of cosplayers to medical facilities to visit children living with mental illness, pediatric afflictions and life-threatening diseases.

Mr. Reavie, a 15-year law enforcement veteran, works as a school resource officer, is a highly decorated police officer, and spent six years as a child crimes detective. During this time, he investigated approximately 1,500 cases, and met a child who was so traumatized that he could barely communicate. Trying various strategies, Mr. Reavie finally found success by mentioning superheroes. This experience led to the development of Superheroes September, a series of superhero events that were so successful, it led Mr. Reavie to form his current foundation enabling him to hold events year round. Mr. Reavie's organization received a national Top-Rated Award in 2021 from Great Nonprofits.

Mr. Reavie studied at Northern Arizona University where he received a Master of Arts in organizational leadership in 2016 with a 4.0 GPA. Following this accomplishment, he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Mr. Reavie is currently writing two books and works non-stop to grow his foundation with his wife Melissa.
