After obtaining an Associate of Science from Terra State Community College, Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in human resource management from Colorado Technical University. She subsequently completed her education by achieving a Master of Science in human resource management from the aforementioned Colorado Springs-based institution. Due to her exemplary academic performance, she received Dean's List and Chancellor's List honors on 10 occasions throughout her academic career.

Prior to her retirement, Ms. Miller found tremendous success as a human resources manager. She specialized in utilizing her notable mediation skills to resolve disputes between employees. Ms. Miller also frequently fielded reports of unprofessional behavior on behalf of employees and enacted the most appropriate and effective solutions to prevent issues from affecting employee productivity.

Ms. Miller attributes a great deal of her success to her faith and considers her esteemed reputation within her professional circles to be her proudest achievement. In her spare time, Ms. Miller enjoys reading books from the "Harry Potter" series, as well as fishing, biking and playing Frisbee. She maintains active affiliation with the International Frisbee Association (IFA).
