Over the years, she has screened engine logbooks, as well as modules and induction processes that are scheduled to be reworked or repaired. An expert in her field, Mrs. Tate holds an Associate degree from Colorado Technical University. While enrolled at Colorado Technical University Mrs. Tate was recognized for maintaining a grade point average of 4.0 and was added to the Dean's List and Chancellor's List for Colorado Technical University.
For her work in the field, Mrs. Tate earned a Sailor of the Year Award from the U.S. Navy. Among her career accomplishments, she is particularly proud to have received several Navy Achievement Medals for supervising more than 10 personnel, and earning a grade of Outstanding in the AMI Inspections. Since retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2014, Mrs. Tate aims to continue her work with the military as a civilian and serve as a mentor and trainer to those following in her footsteps.
