Andrew Brunsman, Executive Director, has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

As the executive director of Be Concerned Inc. - The People's Pantry in Covington since 2014, Mr. Brunsman has been a devout leader in the non-profit sector.

As the executive director of Be Concerned Inc. - The People's Pantry in Covington since 2014, Mr. Brunsman has been a devout leader in the non-profit sector who strives to make an impact with the underprivileged population. Appointed to his position at the age of 26, he previously refined his skills as the aforementioned organization's marketing director from 2013 to 2014. Mr. Brunsman has proudly created an incredible career for himself where he is proud to champion the many individuals that simply need a chance.

Managing operations for the largest choice pantry in Northern Kentucky, Mr. Brunsman is in charge of fiscal obligations, liability and the development and scope of The People's Pantry's services. He also focuses his attention on program delivery, board development, marketing, branding and public relations. Supervising a small staff of five full-time and four part-time employees, as well as many volunteers, Mr. Brunsman and his team serve more than 1,000 families per month.

Among its many services, Be Concerned Inc. provides food delivery for seniors, the homebound and college students in need that cannot visit the pantry. The non-profit organization also established the Student Leadership and Advocacy Program where high school students can earn valuable leadership skills while also contributing volunteer hours. Prior to joining the charitable organization, he worked as a case management supervisor and housing and urban development services case manager for Welcome House of Northern Kentucky from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Brunsman previously garnered valuable expertise as an intern for Our Daily Bread from 2010 to 2011, where he facilitated various programs and supervised college interns serving the agency.

Additionally, Mr. Brunsman was active as a guest services manager for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati from 2010 to 2012. Among his many professional achievements, he was honored to participate as a four-time invited commencement speaker at his alma mater, Mount St. Joseph University, including at the institution's 100-Year celebration and presidential inauguration. Mr. Brunsman was also formerly recruited as an alumni association council member of Mount Saint Joseph University between 2011 and 2021.

Engaged in various civic, non-profit, and religious organizations, Mr. Brunsman is active with the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Leadership Northern Kentucky, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, the Kolping Society of the U.S. and the Safety Net Alliance of Northern Kentucky. He is also a board member for Northern Kentucky Harvest since 2013. Furthermore, Mr. Brunsman is a founding member and committee member of NKY Build-a-Dream since 2016, which builds and delivers beds and mattresses to low-income school-aged children throughout Boone, Campbell, and Kenton Counties.

Mr. Brunsman initially obtained a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 2010. While pursuing his degree, he interned with a local soup kitchen in Cincinnati during 2008. Likewise, he is ServeSafe certified. To enhance his career, Mr. Brunsman is a member of the Northern Kentucky Young Professionals.

In 2021, Mr. Brunsman was recognized as the Executive of the Year by Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky. He was previously honored among the Top 40 Under 40 by the Cincinnati Business Courier in 2020, received the LEGACY Next Generation Leader Award in 2017 in the category of community and social services, and was lauded as the Young Professional of the Year by County Development Professionals in 2016. Furthermore, Mr. Brunsman was celebrated as an Honorable Kentucky Colonel by the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels in 2015 for his goodwill and contributions as an ambassador for the state.
