SAN JOSE, CA, December 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Walter Pelton. Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1960, Mr. Pelton began his career as a research engineer in the North American Autonetics Division of Rockwell International. While there, he developed the flux transfer write head driver, worked on multi-layer printed circuits, and was liaison to Texas Instruments, working on developing Integrated Circuits with Jack Kilby. The latter later received a Nobel Prize for it. These components were all then incorporated into the Advanced Minuteman flight controller.

He became a technical specialist for Filtors Inc., developing the BetaMite solid-state relays and a custom controller for a 200MW power station in Chula Vista, California. He created the first solid-state boiler light-off and shutdown controller for ships (USS Esso Newark). He subsequently worked as the head of the circuits department at Whittaker Controls, where he invented the modern switching power supply. Mr. Pelton later served as a design specialist and an executive staff member at American Data Systems. As a consultant, he developed deep space low-power data transmission theory for Litton Systems used in Mariner 1971. He began operating as the owner, manager, and technical consultant for C.E.I. and developed a line of patch panels, cords, and jacks.

He excelled as the head of research and development for Hand Held Products, where he invented and patented low-power optical sensing and decoding of data. Mr. Pelton next became a senior design engineer for Sierra Research and Technology, working on analog and digital integrated circuits and circuit board designs. He taught courses and filled a role as a Ph.D. advisor for Northwestern Polytechnic University. He later became recruited as a software engineer for Ilex Systems, after which he formed and led Faster Fourier Transforms Inc. He received patents for the integration of power sources onto Integrated Circuits. In addition, Mr. Pelton has received several patents for processing techniques for the Fourier transform and the rotational Fourier transform.

Mr. Pelton attributes his success to his persistence, curiosity, and desire to know everything as he is interested in understanding the universe. He is the author of The Theory of Space for All Readers, ISBN 978-0-9881960-5-6. He considers his most notable achievement to have been developing the Fourier transform code for 5G and working on the Integrated Circuit project with Jack Kilby. Looking to the future, Mr. Pelton is presently introducing the Logos Communication Platform, a system expected to resolve information translation and storage at the global level.
