WILLISTON, ND, December 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darin L. Krueger, CPRP, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. For 15 years, Mr. Krueger has flourished as the executive director of the Williston Parks and Recreation District in Williston, North Dakota. In addition to determining the overall direction of the district, he leads a team of senior directors and directly supports the development of virtually all staff members. Mr. Krueger's typical day consists of collaborating with a variety of community organizations, and staff in order to ensure that the districts many programs and services are effectively meeting the needs of the community.
Prior to his success in Williston, Mr. Krueger thrived as the recreation coordinator for the Highlands Ranch Community Association before finding further success as the athletic coordinator of the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District in Littleton, Colorado. Thanks to his leadership, the Williston Parks and Recreation District has twice been selected as a finalist for the NRPA National Gold Medal for Excellence in the Field of Parks and Recreation Management. In 2018, the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Association honored Mr. Krueger with the Distinguished Professional Award.
Throughout his superb career at the Williston Parks and Recreation District, Mr. Krueger is particularly proud to have played a vital role in the opening of the district's Williston Area Recreation Center, which currently offers a myriad of amenities such as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, turf room, basketball/volleyball courts, indoor 200m track, baseball and softball simulators and an indoor water park with a surf simulator. He is also very grateful for his involvement in the district's recruitment process. Mr. Krueger thoroughly enjoys guiding recent college graduates into new careers while helping them understand why he truly loves his profession.
