For more than 10 years, Mr. Reid has excelled as a Senior Information Systems Analyst at A2Z Inc. With over 40 years of experience with information technology, he specializes in the administration of Linux operating systems, which are loaded in myriad electronic devices, such as Servers, televisions, watches, cameras and printers. Mr. Reid also frequently provides troubleshooting services and remedial maintenance on a broad range of hardware and software systems for customers as well as his colleagues.
Prior to his recruitment at A2Z, Mr. Reid was active as an Automated Logistics Information Management Systems Director for the United States Marine Corps for 30 years. During this time, he provided management and support for the information technology systems of more than 35 Marine Aviation flying squadrons along with multiple Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons (MALS). Mr. Reid additionally earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from National University in 2004 before obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007.
In recognition of his exemplary military service, Mr. Reid has received a host of accolades on behalf of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy such as the National Defense Service Medal, the Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He has also been honored with multiple Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, a Navy Commendation Medal, and a Meritorious Service Medal. He attributes a great deal of his success to his work ethic and tenacity. In the coming years, Mr. Reid intends to retire while devoting more time to his longtime passion for photography.
