Tony T. Williams Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Military Communications

Mr. Williams has found success as a master sergeant in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years



He currently serves as the Detachment Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sixth Military Police Group.

    JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, WA, December 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tony T. Williams has been included in Marquis Who's Who. For more than 20 years, MSG Williams has excelled as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army. He currently serves as the Detachment Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sixth Military Police Group at Joint Base Lewis–McChord, with which he focuses on providing weapons and safety training for investigative agents. MSG Williams had previously utilized his expertise in telecommunications as a signal Noncommissioned Officer for various air defense, cavalry, field artillery, infantry, military intelligence brigades and battalions based across the USA, Germany and South Korea.

Alongside his primary responsibilities as a military Noncommissioned Officer, MSG Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology as well as a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus (formerly Ashford University). He is also affiliated with the Gerontological Society of America, the American College of Health Care Administrators, the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Signal Corps Regimental Association, the U. S. Cavalry Association, the Military Police Regimental Association, and the Air Defense Artillery Association. While he was stationed in Germany, MSG Williams was notably selected for induction into the Sergeant Morales Club, which recognizes exemplary displays of integrity, professionalism and leadership for enlisted members of the armed forces serving in Europe.

In 2013, the Secretary General of NATO honored MSG Williams' service in the U.S. War in Afghanistan with a NATO Medal. He was also awarded the Combat Action Badge by the U.S. Army. He has received the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship (GOLD), the German Military Proficiency Badge (GOLD) and a Letter of Commendation from the President of South Korea. He attributes a great deal of his success to the guidance of his many mentors, especially his former instructors in the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC). In the coming years, MSG Williams intends to obtain a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Liberty University.
