Just about every food product at University Burger is handmade by their world-class chefs, including the jams and burgers. Deeply passionate about helping others, Mr. Ehlert consistently donates food to those in need and performs community outreach activities through his business.
Charitable by nature, Mr. Ehlert is extensively involved in his community, sponsoring local sports teams, athletes and students. He notably contributes to the Blueprint Program, which offers housing for homeless students to assist them in completing high school. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Ehlert delivered meals to hospital staff and collaborated with another local restaurant to feed displaced kitchen staff.
Mr. Ehlert has led a gratifying career, and he is incredibly proud of his success in opening his own business, which is a feat that he never knew he could accomplish. Prior to embarking upon his professional career, he completed coursework in art and graphic design. He thereafter discovered a passion for fast, casual cuisine and acquired University Burger, originally called U Burger, from its previous owners.
