Some of his current clients include Earles Architects & Associates (EAA) in Chicago, where he has served as the firm's Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing and Operations since 2009, and It's Just Lunch, a highly successful franchised matchmaking service for professionals where he has been serving as the company's Controller since 2000. Other clients have included Mekky Media Relations, Plan B Advertising, Alpaytac Public Relations, Rebelhouse Productions, Open Roads Academy and, among others, SEAATS as part-owner of EAA's commercial office furnishings firm and Epic Gourmet Popcorn. Mr. Rossi is presently involved with approximately 8 entities across the country.
As a tenured operations professional, Mr. Rossi creates individualized business plans to ultimately achieve financial growth for companies in a short period of time. Among his many accomplishments, he recently took control of a small public relations firm at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as its chief operating officer. In just under two years, he doubled the firm's size and nearly tripled its revenue.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Rossi garnered experience as a virtual chief financial officer/chief operating officer for small- to medium-sized businesses that didn't have a budget to retain a C level, six-figure employee. He also worked for a private equity firm and spent time in commercial real estate managing a group of commercial office buildings as Asset Manager.
Supporting the LGBTQ+ community, Mr. Rossi is active on a committee for the Center on Halsted in Chicago and serves as a mentor for the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois's entrepreneurship program. He is also affiliated with the HCM Association, a non-profit organization that provides a high level of service, support and advocacy to members, supporters and those living with HCM, and those providing care to the HCM population being that he himself has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
A graduate of Governors State University, Mr. Rossi obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management along with a minor in Psychology in 1998. He soon after attended the Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, where he achieved a Master of Business Administration in Marketing in 2001. As a testament to his professional commitments, Mr. Rossi is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
Mr. Rossi was recognized as a Notable LGBTQ+ Executive by Crain's Business in Chicago in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Recognizing it as a huge honor, he developed a personal brand for himself several years ago as an LGBT role model, HCM Advocate and business leader that included approximately 10,000 followers on Instagram in under one year and most recently Mr. Rossi was honored to be nominated and inducted to the United States Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council.
