Drawing on more than 25 years of geological experience, Mr. Williamson currently serves as the founder, owner and chief executive officer of Wheelhouse Geoscience LLC. Alongside his team of geologists, geophysicists, geographers and environmental specialists, he provides a broad range of scientific consulting services, such as petroleum reservoir modeling, site assessment, geospatial analysis and mergers and acquisitions support. Since Wheelhouse Geoscience's inception in 2020, Mr. Williamson and his team have worked with numerous prominent companies in the oil and gas industry and also provided services to the banking, construction, real estate and utilities sectors.
Most recently, Mr. Williamson co-founded Woodcreek Energy, where he also serves as chief operating officer. In addition to his responsibilities at Wheelhouse Geoscience and Woodcreek Energy, Mr. Williamson has excelled as the co-owner and co-founder of Wolfcamp Equine Center since 2014. He also found success as the co-founder and vice president of the geoscience division of Monadnock Resources from 2015 until 2020. Mr. Williamson maintains active affiliations with a host of professional organizations, such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Honor Society and the Geological Society of America. He has attained professional certifications through the American Institute of Professional Geologists, American Association of Petroleum Geologists and Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists.
During his tenure as a teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, Mr. Williamson was selected for a Teaching Recognition Award for Outstanding Contributions to Education. He has additionally been honored for his exemplary work at numerous organizations, such as Martin Marietta Materials and Pioneer Natural Resources. Mr. Williamson attributes much satisfaction to a career devoted to complex problem solving via collaboration with a deep network of skilled peers, as well as his passion for mentorship to future earth scientists.
