As a career highlight, he cites his time working odd jobs in FedEx and Target for six months while studying for his undergraduate degree after immigrating from Nigeria. Mr. Nwabasili currently excels as the chief executive officer of Sky Concepts Entertainment, a premier event management, event planning and event promotion company that holds comedy, fashion show and pop music events featuring celebrity disc jockeys in New York, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles.
Mr. Nwabasili's love for music inspired him to enter the event planning industry despite being a chemical engineer by profession. After attending an event, he was impressed with the music mix and inquired how he could invest and participate in the field. He later learned how to navigate in the events and entertainment industry and ultimately established Sky Concepts Entertainment. In the coming years, Mr. Nwabasili would like to acquire his own vineyard, in which he could also host events rather than holding them in other venues.
