Dr. Hill, the founder and managing member of Sagacity LLC, established his company in 1985 while teaching as a professor in Milwaukee. An expert in data privacy and software design and architecture, his team consults with various companies to integrate workforce processes and promote sustainable growth. Committed to a holistic approach, Sagacity LLC focuses on finding simple technology-based solutions to complex business issues. Over his 40 year career, Dr. Hill has served on more than 20 boards. In 2021, Dr. Hill also began serving as a board advisor on behalf of Leutheria, a tech start-up that operates in the fields of decentralized finance, as it regards to education and development.

Having previously worked in many academic and corporate positions, Dr. Hill notably spent eight years with the Milwaukee School of Engineering between 1983 and 1991, where he served as the vice president of business and government relations. Responsible for establishing long-term strategic partnerships between the institution and corporate philanthropy units and private foundations, he was also instrumental as a development officer during a $20 million capital campaign. Dr. Hill also taught on campus as an associate professor and was the inaugural program chairman of computer science and engineering.

During his tenure at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Dr. Hill co-developed various programs in engineering management, technical communications and industrial training. At just 23 years old, he was the youngest professor to teach in an engineering department at the time and was credited with establishing one of the first accredited computer engineering programs in the country. Additionally, Dr. Hill served as the founding director of its academic computing services department and the director of the administrative computing department. While employed by the institution, he began a 12-year commitment with the Nordic Group of Companies, a multinational manufacturing and services group in Wisconsin, as a board member, chief information officer and chief technology officer from 1985 to 1997. More recently, Dr. Hill concluded his work with the EXACTA Corporation, where he had served from 2003 to 2021 as a board director, senior software architect and interim president.

Dr. Hill has completed hundreds of applied research projects in his field and authored or edited a multitude of relevant publications on computer security, business systems integration, small business management, and human resources technology. He also co-authored "Brilliant Breakthroughs for the Small Business Owners" in 2020 and 2021. Both volumes were #1 bestselling business books in domestic and international markets. He served as associate editor of Workforce Solutions Review where he regularly contributes articles advancing data privacy and best practices in human resources technology. Looking toward the future, Dr. Hill aspires to focus more on his writing contributions in the coming years. He also plans to participate in additional public speaking engagements. Presently, Dr. Hill is involved with Emmaus Worldwide Ministries, which is the largest correspondence school in the world. He formerly lent his time as a volunteer medical triage/biomedical engineering first responder for Hope International Ministry, deploying to Haiti in 2010.

After earning a diploma at Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hill studied biomedical, electrical and computer engineering at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He furthered his studies in engineering and industrial management at California Coast University. Later, he attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont where he earned a Master of Science in Law. He was recognized by École Supérieure Robert de Sorbon in France, and awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in business administration and change management. Dr. Hill is a senior certified professional through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a certified human resource information professional through the International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), and a certified engineer via 3CX.

Supporting his professional endeavors, Dr. Hill is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and a board member and director for IHRIM. He is also the inaugural chairman of Consortium DeHR, which was established by IHRIM to foster collaboration among human resource associations and businesses worldwide in matters pertaining to employee data ownership and privacy. Well regarded for his innovations, Dr. Hill's Family Organizer Plus software enforcing personal data privacy was recognized as a Personal Technology of the Year, awarded in 2021 by the Business Journals.
