Mr. Berg brings 29 years of professional experience in culinary arts to Five Star Event Catering. He considers himself an expert in overseeing culinary work including creating and computerizing recipes and managing events. His daily responsibilities include managing event catering services, providing services for corporate and fine dining functions, managing orders, and staffing and budgeting. Mr. Berg has published a cookbook entitled 'The American Chef.' Additionally, Chef Scott Berg has been featured in Birmingham News. Mr. Berg plans and executes luncheons and dinners at museums, sporting events, and high-profile locations throughout the Birmingham area.

In 1985, Mr. Berg received his degree in Culinary Arts and Food and Beverage Management from Johnson & Wales University. In the future, Mr. Berg hopes to expand the company nationally and he attributes his success to the support he receives from his mentors and colleagues.
