As a career highlight, she is most proud to have produced students who were awarded with scholarships and accepted into prestigious schools, such as Brown University, the University of California Berkeley and the University of California Los Angeles. Ms. Ford feels gratified to have been instrumental in the accomplishments of her pupils.

In coming years, Ms. Ford looks forward to getting an observatory on campus that her students will use to gather astronomical imagery and data remotely.
