Mrs. McKeever has served as the director of provider services for LightMD Inc. since 2015. She is also the founder of UltraRed LLC, a health consulting company that uses the LightMD Photomodulation device to help treat clients suffering from a variety of ailments and conditions by reducing pain and inflammation. The technology is also used in the cosmetic industry to rejuvenate the face and skin, prevent aging and repair sun damage, as well as the veterinary field to assist with animal recovery. This energy can now be used for tissue repair, angiogenesis, and phagocytosis.
An expert in non-invasive and non-medical pain management and relaxation, Mrs. McKeever sees between four and 15 clients per day, provides light therapy education and training to those interested in purchasing a device for their home or business and, in her down time, contacts potential clients to promote and sell the technology. Hoping that her light machines begin selling across all U.S. hospitals and become more mainstream with LightMD's new COVID protocol and peer reviewed publication, they are currently being utilized by medical professionals, chiropractors, trainers, professional athletes, veterinarians and more. Mrs. McKeever also aspires to help those who have been affected by the opioid crisis, or who are living in low income and impoverished areas, by providing this non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical solution that will have a huge impact in the quality of their lives.
Passionate about her profession, Mrs. McKeever began using a light machine in 2007 after a traumatic car accident. A year and a half of rehabilitation and advisement from three doctors that she would need surgery to fix the reversed curve in her neck with a metal implant. Light therapy was so successful that she became a prolific presence in the field after her own recovery. During this time, Mrs. McKeever initially worked for A Perfect Light Inc. in sales, training and support in Los Gatos, California, from 2009 to 2013.
A dedicated advocate on behalf of her community, Mrs. McKeever offers free treatments to front line healthcare workers, first responders, and veterans. She is also a Positive Coaching Alliance certified coach who previously volunteered with the Beverly Hills Basketball League. The Alliance is a nonprofit organization devoted to building character through youth sports. Supporting her business, Mrs. McKeever is also a member of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau with a consistent A+ rating. Previously, she lent her time to feeding the homeless in Los Angeles, California and was a committee member for the Divine Homeless Project from 2015 to 2017.
Mrs. McKeever received a Bachelor of Science in marine biology at the University of California in Santa Cruz in 2003. As a testament to her subsequent success, she was recognized in an edition of Entrepreneur Magazine among its Entrepreneurs of 2021 list and in the International Forum of Advancements in Healthcare Top 100 Healthcare Leaders list for 2020-2021. Other recognitions to Ms. McKeever's credit include being featured in Voyage LA Magazine and on several major television networks, including Good Day LA and FOX News. Her company, UltraRed Light, was awarded West Hollywood's Best of 2018, 2019, and 2020 for Best in Home Healthcare. Mrs. McKeever has also been awarded the Health 2.0 Outstanding leadership Award for 2021-2022.
