Linda Latsko-Lockhart has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Ms. Latsko-Lockhart is recognized in Forbes' 50 Over 50 Inaugural Impact List

NEW YORK, NY, January 24, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Latsko-Lockhart has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

The founder and chief executive officer of Global Give Back Circle (GGBC), Ms. Latsko-Lockhart established her gender equity nonprofit organization in 2005. Headquartered in New York City, the GGBC and its partners economically empower at-risk adolescent girls and guide them on how to use their skills and talents to give back to their communities. Local players, private sector and governments engage in the solution and women from all over the globe give back as role-model mentors. GGBC focuses on diversity and inclusion by providing this vulnerable population with access to life, leadership and workforce skills they would otherwise not have access to.

Founded in 2005, Ms. Latsko-Lockhart designed, funded and piloted her program in Kenya by mobilizing partnerships with the United States Agency for International Development, Microsoft and Mastercard Foundation, as well as 21 private sector organizations. Becoming the country's largest gender-based, mentorship, education and employment readiness program with over 2,000 beneficiaries, she then expanded into Rwanda, South Africa and India, reaching 4,600 beneficiaries in all and raising approximately $20 million in funding. Today, there are over 2,500 women globally who are mentoring GGBC beneficiaries. These dedicated mentors not only give back in time and talent, they also give back in treasure and help ensure these once-at-risk young women are able to complete their educational journey, break out of the circle of poverty and give back to their communities.

Currently serving on the board of GGBC, Ms. Latsko-Lockhart is an expert in social entrepreneurship and programs that economically empower young women. Bringing with her extensive expertise in entrepreneurship, change management, mentoring programs and business development, as well as best practices to address development changes, she hopes that her contributions towards program sustainability can position GGBC to support the next generation of young women in countries where it operates. Ms. Latsko-Lockhart notably worked for the Cohen Brown Management Group for ten years. As an international director, she specialized in connecting the customer buying process with the sales and service process. She also garnered recognition in retail banking and consulting, where she began speaking publicly at financial services conferences across five continents.

Ms. Latsko-Lockhart is highly educated. She received an associate degree in retail merchandising at Pennsylvania State University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in fashion design at Drexel University and a Master of Business Administration in finance at the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.

Ms. Latsko-Lockhart is a professional member of the Women Business Collective, Women & Worth, and How Women Lead. She was recently named to Forbes' 50 Over 50 Inaugural Impact List, and featured in publications of Drexel University and Pennsylvania State University. GGBC has been featured on the cover of the Microsoft Annual Citizen Report, featured onstage during the Opening Plenary Session of the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009 and recognized by First Lady Michelle Obama at the World Bank Summit in 2016.
